Principal's Message

Entering my 13th year as the Principal of Scholars Academy, I am absolutely honored and thrilled to be part of such a caring, dedicated, and family-like school community! This is my 22^nd year in the Orange school district, my 16th year as a Principal, and 28^th year in education!  My educational background includes a dual Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, a Masters degree in Education with a focus on Educational Technology, and a Gifted Education Graduate Certificate from Rutgers University. My background includes teaching at the Kindergarten to 8th-grade levels, being a Master Teacher for Language Arts, and an Academic Coach for Math and Language Arts.

Now, I have the wonderful opportunity to be part of a dynamic learning community of students, parents, and staff in our Orange Horizon Program and Gifted and Talented Education program.  Our school is specially designed to fit the needs of our students.  Our students are our pride and joy!
